How to Receive a Payment

If, between July 28, 1987, and February 24, 1998, you (1) were insured by a vehicle casualty insurance policy issued by Defendant State Farm and (2) made a claim for vehicle repairs pursuant to their policy and had non-factory authorized and/or non-OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) “crash parts” installed on or specified for their vehicles or else received monetary compensation determined in relation to the cost of such parts, you may be eligible for payment. Please review the table below to determine the actions you should take to receive a payment in this Settlement.


Class Member Type Action to Take If You Do Nothing
Received Notice of the Settlement in the mail or by email and are NOT a resident of Arkansas or Tennessee No action is needed. You will receive a payment automatically. Once the Court approves the Settlement, you will automatically receive a check by mail.
Received Notice of the Settlement in the mail or by email and are a current resident of Arkansas or Tennessee If you lived in a different state at the time you made an eligible State Farm claim for vehicle repairs, you had the option to submit an Arkansas/Tennessee Claim Form by January 31, 2019 seeking a payment. You will not receive an automatic payment unless you filed an Arkansas/Tennessee Claim Form by January 31, 2019.
Did not receive Notice of the Settlement in the mail or by email, but believe you are a member of the Class. You had the option to file a General Claim Form online by January 31, 2019. You will not receive payment unless you filed an eligible General Claim Form.

The Settlement Administrator is currently processing claims, and the claim filing deadline was January 31, 2019.
